UXE Security Solutions is a top provider of smart business support and security
solutions in the MENA region, utilizing cutting-edge technology to serve over 750
clients across various sectors including smart city technologies, AI solutions, and
security audits. UXE specializes in integrated security frameworks for industries like
education, hospitality, finance, and retail.
Problem:
UXE wanted to purchase a range of smart locks featuring NFC functionality and mobile app
control from three different providers, including U&Z and TTLOCK. The challenge was that
each provider had its own firmware and mobile apps. UXE wanted a unified, portable
software solution to operate all the locks and a single mobile app for comprehensive control
for the three locks. To achieve this, they asked for the expertise of Infinity-tech.
Solution:

Software Development

We developed software that operates the locks seamlessly and communicates efficiently
with the Mobile App via BLE. This required collaboration with the smart lock providers to
obtain their SDKs, allowing us to develop our own software and create a modular layer with
full access to all lock functionalities. Additionally, we incorporated OTA firmware update
functionality over BLE, ensuring the locks can be updated remotely for ongoing
improvements and security enhancements. The solution worked perfectly, enabling control
of the locks with both NFC cards and the Mobile App, ensuring seamless integration and
reliable operation.

Moblie App (Android/ iOS)

UXE requested two Mobile Apps: one for admins and another for regular users. We
successfully developed both apps, meeting all of UXE’s requirements. Our solution enabled
effective control of the locks via the mobile apps, ensuring seamless and reliable operation
for both user groups.
Admin App Functionality:
1- Authorization: Admin logs in to gain access.
2- Full Control: Admin has complete access and control over any lock.
3- Lock Status Monitoring: Admin can monitor comprehensive lock status, including
battery level, lock/unlock history and any reported errors.
4- BLE Management: Admin can manage all lock functionalities via Bluetooth Low Energy
(BLE), including changing the lock’s BLE name.
5- Key Management: Admin can add or remove keys from the locks.
6- NFC Card Management: Admin can add or remove NFC cards from the locks.
7- Temporary Key Generation: Admin can generate temporary keys for users and send
them via email as a link or QR codes for scanning.
8- Permanent Key Generation: Admin can generate permanent keys for special users and
send them via email as a link or QR codes for scanning.
9- Key Encryption: The Mobile App ensures all generated keys are securely encrypted and
can be decrypted by the lock.
10- User Authorization: Admin authorizes the generated keys for all users.
User App Functionality:
1- Key Enrollment: Users can manually enroll the key link received from the admin or scan
the QR code.
2- BLE Connectivity: Users can connect to the lock over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
3- Lock Control: Users gain access to lock/unlock functionality.
4- Temporary Key Monitoring: Users can monitor the remaining time for temporary keys.
5- Lock Status Monitoring: Users can check lock status, including battery level and any
reported errors.
6- Monitor Lock History: Users can view lock/unlock history since the key was activated.
